Italia 1915-1918 is a narrative management game set during World War I. Forget commanding armies or planning assaults — you play as an Italian Royal Army logistics officer, and you experience the war from the shadow of the rear lines.
Your mission is to keep the war machine running day after day — from May 24, 1915 to the armistice of November 4, 1918 — managing supplies of food, fuel and materials, coordinating convoys, building and upgrading your base camp, and above all maintaining an impossible balance between two opposing forces: the Morale of your troops and your Prestige with the Supreme Command.
Every morning, orders land on your desk alongside soldiers' letters, newspaper pages and urgent requests from the front. You must decide: obey the Command's orders — often irrational, often bloody — gaining prestige but grinding your men down, or disobey to save lives, risking your own dismissal. There is no right choice. There is only the one you can live with.
You'll face real historical events: the Strafexpedition of 1916, the disaster of Caporetto in 1917, the comeback at Vittorio Veneto. You'll cross paths with figures like D'Annunzio, Mussolini and Pope Benedict XV. You can deploy elite units like the Arditi or the fearsome Compagnie della Morte, knowing every deployment comes at an enormous human cost. Unlock technologies — from field telephone to radio — that open new strategic options and visibly change your command office.
Defeat doesn't come from a lost battle. It comes from silent collapse: supplies exhausted, a mutiny you couldn't stop, a dismissal order signed by High Command.
