Xydonia is indeed another great upcoming shmup and we are glad to be a part of this shmup renaissance that seems to be happening on PC recently. .MSI is a windows installer file (it stands for MicroSoft Installer i guess), it's the same as a .exe file.
So it is an installer executable for the alpha demo.
